Vidya Soudha Kids, K.R. Puram, Hassan, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The school campus was beautifully decorated with tricolour balloons, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The celebration commenced at 8:30 AM in the presence of staff, students, and parents. The Chief Guest, Mr. Havaldar Eregowda B., Ex-Indian Army, Corps of Signals, along with Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma, Centre Head, unfurled the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma inspired the children to take pride in their identity as Indians, and strong values in shaping responsible citizens and a better future, while the Chief Guest shared an inspiring message on the importance of education, discipline, patriotism.
The students enthusiastically showcased their talents through a variety of patriotic performances. The Pre-Preparatory children beautifully portrayed freedom fighters, while the Preparatory-1 and Preparatory-2 students captivated the audience with patriotic songs and energetic dance performances.
As part of the celebration, a Free Skin Care Camp was organized for parents. Dr. Priyanka C.D. provided valuable skincare guidance and conducted consultations, making the initiative both meaningful and beneficial.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the distribution of sweets to the children. It was a memorable day filled with patriotism, joy, learning, and togetherness, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride in our nation.
