Vidya Soudha Public School, KIADB, Hassan, hosted its highly anticipated Annual Sports Fiesta 2024, a spectacular event that showcased the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.
The event commenced with the Guard of Honor, followed by the flag hoist and the rendering of the State Anthem. The March Past of different houses of students was a vibrant display of unity and discipline.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, Mr. Nandeep Raghav K N Sir, a renowned National Player, Power Lifting Association Director, Health Department Hassan, Mr.Pavan Manjegowda Sir, Executive Director, Vidya Soudha Group of Institutions, Dr. Rangegowda Sir, Principal, VSAM College, Mr. Vishwa Prakash Mahadimane Principal of VSPU College and Mrs. Mamatha Natesh ma’am Principal of Vidya Soudha Public School, KIADB, Hassan.
The invocation ceremony set the tone for the event, while the lighting of the Olympic Torch symbolized the spirit of competition and sportsmanship. The oath-taking ceremony was led by the School Sports Captain, who pledged to uphold the values of fair play, respect, and teamwork.
The event was officially inaugurated by lighting the lamp, marking the beginning of the sports festivities. The highlight of the event was the prize distribution ceremony, where students who won matches completed throughout the year were felicitated with trophies, medals, and certificates.
The event featured a range of cultural performances, including: Aerobic dance, Hoops dance, Flower drill etc..
Mr. Nandeep Raghav K N Sir, a renowned National Player, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet, discipline, and dedication in achieving success in sports and life.
The event was supported by students and was a unique opportunity for parents to participate in sports activities, including games and competitions.
Mr. Pavan Manjegowda Sir, Executive Director, extended his warm wishes to students and parents, encouraging them to participate in sports and extracurricular activities. Dr. Rangegowda Sir, Principal, VSAM College, emphasized the importance of sports and physical activities.
