Report on ‘AVINYA’ – Science Expo Organized on 23/11/2024 in VSPS ,KIADB ,Hassan
Vidya Soudha Public School, Hassan, proudly hosted ‘AVINYA,’ the most anticipated event of the year, a Science Exhibition that showcased the innovative and creative talents of its students.
The objective of ‘AVINYA’ was to foster a spirit of exploration, encouraging students to think creatively, develop problem-solving skills, and enhance their knowledge through hands-on experiments and projects.
The exhibition featured an impressive array of exhibits, including – Interactive science models , Innovative projects, Creative art displays, Hands-on experiments.
The Displays/Projects were: Rocket Technology , Water Cycle , Biodiversity, Infrastructure and technological development , Human Blood group Identification , Circulatory system , Respiratory system , Digestive system , in human body Water management in villas ,Where will we live? , Recycle various products, Energy conservation , Natural air purifier etc.
Students from various grades actively participated in the exhibition, showcasing their aesthetic skills, team management, and scientific knowledge. The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The event was graced by esteemed guests: Dr. B.K. Ram Praveen Sir – MD in Ayurveda, and Senior Ayush Administrative Officer, Government of Karnataka, emphasized the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern science. Dr. Vishwa Prakash Sir, Principal of VS PU College, encouraged students to explore the wonders of science and its applications in daily life. Mr. Parameshwar Sir, Principal of VS School, Vijayanagar, emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success.
Visitors, including parents, family members, and friends, spent quality time exploring the exhibits, interacting with students, and enjoying the hands-on activities. The event provided a unique opportunity for families to bond over learning and fun.
Mrs. Mamatha Natesh Ma’am , Principal of Vidya Soudha Public School, emphasized the importance of hands-on learning, saying, “Exhibitions like ‘AVINYA’ help students develop essential skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, which are crucial for their future success.”
