Deepavali, the joyous “Festival of Lights” was celebrated at VSPS PREPARATORY KIADB with fervor and excitement. The school decorated with sparkling diyas, glittering torans and colorful Rangolis wore a festive look. The children looked adorable dressed in bright colorful ethnic wear. The foot tapping and exuberant dance performed by the little ones to invoke the blessings of “Lord Ganesha” and “Maa Laxmi” was the highlight of the celebrations. The children were excited to take home the Diyas made by them at school.

Teachers performed a puppet show of a mythological story to convey the significance of Deepavali (Rama, Ravan’ s story) also importance of celebrating eco-friendly Diwali, Not to burst more crackers, not to make pollution. Children thoroughly enjoyed the celebration.
