Our nation’s future relies on a well educated public to be wise stewards of the very environment that sustains us, our families and communities and future generations. VSPS jointly with Rotary club of Hassan Heritage celebrated ” Environment Day” at school. Special assembly was held. A plethora of activities with the theme ” Only one Earth” were initiated. The ecological imbalance created due to the ever increasing demands on the natural resources was aptly portrayed through the skit ” Earth then and now.” Students donated more than 100 saplings and successfully touched the issues of Global warming, industrialization,  cutting trees etc. Principal Mrs Mamatha Natesh and Rtn Latha Venugopal,  President,  Rotary Heritage Hassan stressed on the importance of trees in one’s life and the need to protect the environment.
