Chairman’s Desk

Dr. Manje Gowda, Chairman of Vidya Soudha Group of Institutions, brings over 35 years of experience across education, industry, public service, and leadership.

Coming from a small rural village near Hassan, he has built a distinguished career through academic excellence and professional achievement. A rank holder in Engineering, he completed his Master’s degree and Doctorate from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, earned an MBA from Bangalore University, and completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan.

He began his professional journey with the Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Karnataka, and later worked at Karnataka State Financial Corporation (KSFC), where he gained extensive experience in corporate funding and financial services.

After taking voluntary retirement from a senior role at KSFC, he expanded his career into the private sector and worked with several publicly listed companies. He has also served on the Board of Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB).

Alongside his professional work, Dr. Manje Gowda actively contributes to social initiatives and community development activities, reflecting his continued commitment to education, leadership, and social impact.
