Sports day was celebrated on 27th October 2025 in HMT ground in a grandeur manner conducted among the students of both PU classes and VSAMS, degree students. Mr. Sanjay Raj, “Ekalavya awardee” was invited as chief guest and many other dignitaries were present. Dr. Manje Gowda, Chairman VSGI, Mr. Aravind, Vice Chairman, VSGI, Dr. Dhananjaya, Principal VSAMS, Mrs. Padmashree, Principal VSPS, Mrs. Gayathri, Vice Principal VSPS, Dr. Lakshmiprasanna, Principal, VSPU, Bangalore.
Dignitaries were honored and addressed the gathering with the experience, gained by the chief guest. Encouraged the students to focus on their goals and to work accordingly.
Dr. Manje Gowda,Chairman and Mr. Aravind, Vice Chairman encouraged the students to get involved in the sports activities and reach their heights in their achievements.
Many sports activities such as Kabaddi, throwball, volley ball, 100 & 200 mts relay, shot put, tug of war etc. were conducted and the students participated with the zeal of spirit and bagged many medals and trophies.
A fun filled tug of war was played among the teaching staff of both the PU & Degree. Enthusiastic lecturers participated and showed their equal involvement.
