Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we at Vidya Soudha Kids, K R Puram branch conducted the Fancy Dress Event for the students of Kindergarten.

Fancy dress encourages children to express their point of view. It helps build both gross and fine motor skills, decision making skills, encourage empathy and assists in the overall emotional development of children.

The motto of conducting this event was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.

Students displayed their talents on the theme ‘Plants & its Friends’. Children came dressed up in their colourful costumes as mango, apple, coconut, carrot, strawberry etc and emphasized upon their need and importance in making our lives healthy. The effort and hard work of children and the parents were highly commendable.
