VIDYA SOUDHA PU COLLEGE had organized an industrial visit on 19 May, 2022 to Azim Premji University located in Electronics City, Bangalore, for the students. The visit was organized by Principal, Dr. Lakshmiprasanna H R and other Faculties of VSPU. We started travelling from the college campus at 8:30 am via our college bus. Totally 49 students along with 2 coordinators were accompanied in the journey.

In early 2000, Azim premji Foundation was set out to work in field of elementary education in government schools across India. Over the years, the foundation set out to work in field of elementary education to work with teachers, Principals, Educators and administrators. It is a huge 90 acre campus involved in educating underprivileged students. We visited Physics, Biology and Mathematics laboratory which gave us insight ideas and practical knowledge in Florescent Microscopy, Cascading Tane systems, Agarose gel electrophoresis and Tissue culture techniques etc. Students also learnt about Bacteria, fungi, Protists, Spiders and Drosophila. Entomology (Insects) was the major site of attraction for our students. The various cold storage devices (-150°C) were highlighted to store microbes for long years. Overall the visit was useful which contributes to realization of equitable and sustainable society which was joyful and fun filled also useful to our students.
