The 68th year of Kannada Rajotsava was celebrated in our College auditorium on 22nd November 2023 with a great joy and vigour. It was a day for Kannadiga’s of being proud to be, dressed in red and yellow colour in the presence of our respectable Chairman Dr. Manje Gowda, VSGI, Trustee Mr. Aravind, VSGI, Dr. Dhananjaya, VSAMS Principal Bangalore, Dr. Lakshmiprasanna, VSPU Principal Bangalore.
The programme was commenced with the formal programme of lamp lightning, prayer song, and various entertainment programmes were performed by I and II year PUC students. Visual presentation was depicted by Mr. Nizar, Economics dept., the charm and the elegance of Karnataka, and presented many actors and poets’ pictures as an honour for them on this propitious day.
This well organised programme was overseen by the Kannada dept., lecturers Mr. Manjunath and Mrs. Bhagyalakshmi. Various dance programmes performed by the students were denoting the culture and heritage of Karnataka.
Dr. Manje Gowda, chairman VSGI and Dr. Lakshmiprassanna, Principal, VSPU delivered the speech on their pride to be a Kannadiga. They also said that Karnataka has extended their hands for the survival of other state people with their livelihood. The programme came to an end with a very emotional dialogue of a Saarvabhouma, Dr. Rajkumar. Spectators felt bounce off the wall.
