To celebrate the joy of colours we have a colour day every month and the colour of this month was Red. Vidya Soudha Kids K R Puram branch celebrated ‘Red Day’ on 8th July 2022 to introduce kids into the mesmerizing realm of colours. Red, the colour of blood and fire, is associated with meanings of love, sensitivity, joy, strength, leadership and determination. It symbolizes action, confidence, and courage.
The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the Kids feel bright, lively and cheerful. The day started off with the colour red everywhere. Assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of red colour. Teachers discussed the significance and importance of the colour ‘Red” in circle time. The kids enhanced their communication skills as they confidently participated in the “Show and Tell” activity in their classes describing the Red object they brought from home.
Colours are indeed the smiles of nature. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours there by reinforcing cognitive skills.
