Student parent orientation programme was organized by the management of VSGI and the Principal of VSPU, Bangalore.
The Programme started up with a formal welcome speech, prayer song and vote of thanks in the presence of dignitaries, Dr. Manje Gowda, Chairman VSGI, Mr. Mohan, CAO VSGI, Dr.Lakshmiprasanna, Principal VSPU Bangalore, Dr. Dhananjaya Principal Vidya Soudha Degree College, Mrs Vani Sathish Principal, VSPU Hassan and her team who joined all the way from Hassan.
A short video presentation inferred the parents to gain knowledge about the infrastructure of the college. An elaborate Orientation speech was conveyed by the Principal, Dr. Lakshmiprasanna. The information’s are as follows:
- Rules to be adhere by both the student as well as parents.
- Burden of syllabus in PU College.
- Expectation of the student and the parents.
- Availability of seats in integrated courses.
- Setting the goal and dedication towards studies.
- Knowledge about different competitive courses
- Brief of career guidance.
- Availability of COE, in the website to have a regular connection on the students’ progress.
Topper student of the year 2022-23 batch Harshitha D Y shared few words about her journey in VSPU and also motivated her juniors with the guidelines to be a topper like her.
Dr. Manje Gowda, Chairman shared his academic experience and the resource which available for the students and to use it in a beneficiary way. He also advised the students to respect the parents and their religion and also depicted a story of “Robert the Bruce” as a motivational thoughts.
The successful programme came to an end with many questions and appreciations from the parents end.
