Sports day was celebrated on 16th September 2023 in HMT ground in stupendous manner. Lecturer as well as sports person Mr. Shamanth B S presided the distinctive day as a chief guest with The Chairman, VSGI Dr. Manje Gowda, trustee Mr. Aravind, Principal VSPU, Dr. Lakshmiprasanna, Principal VSAMS Dr. Dhananjaya, Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Mohan were represented as dignitaries.
A devotional song lead with the formal welcome address, speech by the chief guest, Chairman and the trustee, oath taking, vote of thanks. Yoga stunts were demonstrated by the set of students, with a mind blowing performance. Chief Guest motivated the students to lead with both career and the passion to succeed in their life.
Chief Guest as well as the dignitaries hand in glove, released the balloons and declared the Sports Meet 2023-24. Numerous sports events like relay 100×4, 200m, kabaddi boys and girls, volley ball, throw ball, cricket etc. were conducted. Everyone exposed their skills with exuberant and sportive spirit. Winners were honoured with a medal and a certificate. As most of the games were won by the Science Excel batch students were in cloud nine.
