77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Vidya Soudha Kids, K R Puram branch Hassan. The school decorated with tricolor saffron, white and green balloons welcomed the eyes of all to the function.

The ceremony started at 8:30 AM in the school premises with large crowd of staff, students and parents.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, Chief Guest Mr. Somashekar.B, Ex. Indian Army Subedar and Center Head of our School, Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma Ma’am, unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma Center Head of Vidya Soudha Kids K R Puram Branch welcomed the gathering urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians.

The Chief Guest in his address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the countr
The cultural programme was a spectacular showcase of talent, with our
Pre-Preparatory kids reminiscing about our freedom fighters with their customs and doing the ramp walk on stage. The tiny tots of Prep-1 and Prep-2 performed mesmerizingly to patriotic tunes, taking the show by storm.
The program culminated with Vote of Thanks. Chocolates were distributed to children and Sweets were distributed to the Parents. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
