The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Vidya Soudha Kids, K R Puram branch in Hassan. The school was festively decorated with tricolor balloons.
The ceremony began at 8:30 AM, attended by staff, students, and parents. Chief Guest Mr. K.B. Balakrishna, Ex. Indian Army Nayak, along with Dr. Priyanka Gowda C.D. and Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma, unfurled the national flag with the National Anthem, honoring our freedom.
Mrs. Shayista Umme Salma inspired pride in our identity as Indians, while the Chief Guest emphasized the significance of education and values for future generations.
Students showcased their talents, with Pre-Preparatory kids honoring freedom fighters, and Prep-1 and Prep-2 performing patriotic songs.
A Free Skin Care Camp attracted parents, with Dr. Priyanka providing skincare insights and checkups.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks and sweets for the children, making it a memorable day of celebration for our nation.
