‘Yellow day’ & ‘Children’s day’ was celebrated on Monday 14.11.2022 in Vidya Soudha Kids Hassan. The school campus turned yellow in colour to celebrate ‘Yellow Day’. Children’s day is celebrated to raise awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children.

 From teachers to kids all were dressed in yellow as part of the celebration. The kids were made to learn importance of the colour yellow by using several creative models.

They carried their favorite Yellow colour object and spoke few sentences about it. They enjoyed the day with fun filled activities. Teachers perform songs for children.

Yellow Day was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each student. Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s development.

It was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of yellow colour on our little ones.
