She holds a Masters in Commerce [M.Com] and has a long teaching experience of over 20 years, worked with various esteemed institutions. She worked as a founder Principal in Premier Science & Commerce PU College, Karwar for 5 years, and as a Principal in Jnanasagra PU College, Channarayapatna for 1½ year. She was the HOD, Lecturer in Commerce and Hostel Incharge in TMA Pai Academy of General Education, Manipal (Moodbidri). Worked as a Guest faculty in the Institutions like Jnana Sudha PU College, Karkala, Trisha College, Udupi to train CA foundation. She has coordinated – Inspire Award conducted by Department of Science & Technology Govt of India, Vijnana samvada, E-school, Science project related programmes. Also, shouldered the responsibility of District coordinator for summer and winter school “CHETHANA”, Women empowerment programme for 4 years conducted by ICT skill development society IT BT, Infosys at Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore, GKVK and IISC. Worked as Guides captain and trained students in their respective patrols. Trained the students for State level talent hunt programmes by choreographing folk dances and Yakshagana.
