We at VSPS celebrated our School Annual Day on 19th of November 2024 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall with cultural events for Preparatory to Grade – 3 in the morning session.
“KAYAKAVE KAILASA” was the theme for 2024-25 Annual Day, and it was about celebrating hard work and dedication of people from diverse professions. This event was a perfect opportunity for children to showcase their talent and was a grand celebration of our school’s rich cultural heritage.
Program was inaugurated by our Chief Guest RJ Rashid, one of the most revered anchor and RJ’s of today’s radio world and our Chairman Dr. Manjegowda Sir. His presence of mind and witty remarks enlighten our days whenever we listen to him over radio and his presence in our annual day celebrations added a new flavour to the overall cultural experience. He addressed students and encouraged them to think outside the box and choose a profession that enhances their inherent talent in the best way possible.
Children displayed their talent through various dance, music and skit performances, focused on depicting the importance of different professions. Highlight of the day was the skit played by children from across grades depicting a teacher, a police officer, a doctor, an engineer, a sports person and an artist. Moral of the skit and all the programs was that all professions are important and it is the teacher who ensures that children are ready for these professions.
Our Chairman, Dr. Manjegowda commended children’s performance and encouraged them to put in the right efforts to scale greater heights. All-in-all 2024-25 Annual Day was one of the most wonderful cultural program put together by the VSPS team.
