Vidya Soudha Public School started celebrating the 75th Independence Day as per the guidelines from the Government by hoisting the Indian National flag on 13th, 14th and on 15th August 2022. Dr. Manjegowda the Chairman of the Vidya Soudha Group of Institutions along with the trustee members hoisted the flag with pride. This was followed by March past display by the school head boy, head girl and all the 4 houses along with the school band.
A mega event “Cyclothon” was organized for the parents of our students in order to promote “Healthy India, Progressive India”. Many parents enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the event.
The chairman Dr. Manjegowda and the trustee member Mrs. Sudha Manjegowda led the flag march . The students held the 100 meter flag, marched along with the school band by shouting the slogans like “Bharath Matha ki Jai and Vande Mataram”. Their spirits and patriotism had no bounds. This was followed by a display of spectacular cultural programs by our students which included drill, dance paying tribute to Indian Soldiers, drama on how famous leaders fought with the Indian invaders, samudhaya geeth were sung where students represented different states, a mime highlighting on Swatch Bharath. Mr. VENKATESH H S , Retd. Dy. Director, ISRO CHIEF GUEST OF THE DAY addressed the gathering and spoke about the mantras of success and inspired the students. The Chairman Dr. Manje Gowda addressed the gathering about the contribution of various elements in the successful growth of India. All these programs on 15th august 2022 culminated into a grand celebration of the 75th Independence Day, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and filled everyone’s minds and hearts with utmost patriotism.
