On a bright and exciting morning, Vidya Soudha PU College in Hassan proudly opened its doors to a new batch of students, celebrating Fresher’s Day 2026. The auditorium was filled with joy, nervousness, and hope as the college embraced its beautiful theme, “Route 11: Where Aspirations Meet Opportunity.” It was a day dedicated entirely to new beginnings and making every fresher feel like a valued part of the VSPU family.
Tradition, Inspiration, and Joy
The beautiful celebration began with a soulful invocation song to seek the Almighty’s blessings. Following this, the esteemed dignitaries, including Chairman of VSGI Dr. Manje Gowda and Executive Director of VSGI Mr. Pavan Manjegowda, officially inaugurated the event. They lit the traditional ceremonial lamp to bring in the light of knowledge and watered a plant to symbolize the nurturing and growth of young minds.
A major highlight of the morning was the grand launch of the new CA Foundation Classes, giving commerce students a clear path to achieve their big dreams. The freshers were also deeply motivated by words of wisdom from a proud alumna, Ms. Monisha K M, who shared her own journey of success. Once the formal speeches concluded, the stage came alive with pure entertainment! Seniors welcomed their new friends with energetic dance routines, a hilarious mimicry performance, and fun ice-breaking games that filled the entire room with laughter and loud cheers.

The meaningful morning reached its peak when all the freshers stood up together with pride to take the official Fresher’s Pledge. They promised to work hard, respect their teachers, and make the best use of every opportunity given to them. With a perfect blend of inspiring traditions, happy smiles, and grand celebrations, Fresher’s Day 2026 was a massive success.
