VIDYA SOUDHA PUBLIC SCHOOL hosted its much-awaited Annual Day Tarang 2024 on NOVEMBER 19, 2024 a grand event that celebrated the incredible talent, creativity, and cultural richness of our students. The day was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a dazzling array of performances that left everyone mesmerized.
The event was graced by Dr. Suchethan Rangaswamy, a renowned Carnatic Vocalist and an actor along our esteemed chairman of VSGI Dr.Manjegowda, respected principal of VSPS Ms.Padmashree M and other dignitaries. The theme of the event was Thattva Makaranda. All the performances depicted the theme which show cased the essence of all the five elements of nature (Earth, water , fire, air and sky).
The highlight of the evening was the NAVADURGA dance, a powerful depiction of the eternal triumph of good over evil. Through graceful movements, dramatic expressions, and vibrant costumes, our students brought the mythological tale to life, captivating the audience and earning a standing ovation.
The stage also came alive with a series of cultural programs that showcased the diversity of art forms:
Traditional Folk Dances: Students performed energetic folk dances from various states, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India.
Contemporary Fusion Acts: Combining classical styles with modern choreography, these performances were a visual and auditory treat.
Musical Extravaganza: The school choir and instrumentalists delivered soulful melodies and foot-tapping tunes, adding rhythm to the evening.
The Annual Day was not just about performances; it was also a celebration of teamwork, dedication, and passion. Months of hard work by students, teachers, and staff culminated in a flawless presentation that truly reflected the spirit of our school.
