Vidya Soudha Public School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great zeal and patriotic spirit. The occasion was graced by our Chief Guest, Mr. K. Shambayya, Ex-Deputy Director, ISRO (LPSC), Guest of Honour, Dr. Manje Gowda, Chairman VSGI, Vice Chairman, Mr. Arvind Manje Gowda, and other esteemed Trustee Members.
Students from Tiny Tots to Grade 10 presented captivating dance dramas depicting the struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, along with melodious patriotic songs that filled the atmosphere with pride and patriotism.
Mr. K. Shambayya, in his inspiring address, shared a powerful message with the young minds: “Don’t be consumers of technology; be creators of technology.” He spoke passionately about patriotism, discipline, perseverance, and the importance of dreaming big.
His words, “A dream without discipline is just a dream,” encouraged students to learn, keep trying, develop discipline, and never give up. His heartfelt reminder, “Never forget the country that gave you the opportunity to dream,” was a message that will remain with the young generation for years to come.
Our Guest of Honour, Dr. Manje Gowda, also delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the students to become responsible and purposeful citizens.
It was indeed a memorable celebration filled with patriotism, talent, inspiration, and pride.
