The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of our college organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23rd August 2025 at the college auditorium, in association with Bangalore Blood Centre and Rotary Bengaluru Gulmohar.The camp was aimed at promoting the spirit of voluntary blood donation and creating awareness about its significance in saving precious lives. Blood donation is one of the most selfless acts of service to humanity, as it helps patients during surgeries, accidents, medical emergencies, and for those suffering from critical illnesses.
The program witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff members, who came forward enthusiastically to donate blood.
The program was inaugurated by our esteemed Chairman, Dr. Manje Gowda, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the value of service to humanity through blood donation. A total of 75 volunteers registered for blood donation, reflecting strong enthusiasm and social responsibility among students and staff.Out of the registered donors, 47 units of blood were successfully collected under the supervision of medical experts from Bangalore Blood Centre.
