Preparatory children enthusiastically celebrated Market Day – Nammoora Santhe, transforming the school campus into a vibrant local marketplace. Dressed as cheerful local vendors, the children experienced the journey of fresh produce from farm to market, learning about farming, sorting, packing, transportation, and how fruits, vegetables, and other products finally reach supermarkets and consumers.
The young vendors confidently sold fruits, vegetables, flowers, bangles, fresh juice, popcorn, and healthy salads, making the event both educational and enjoyable. Through this hands-on experience, children developed an understanding of trade, communication, teamwork, and the value of local markets.
Parents thoroughly enjoyed the unique concept of Nammoora Santhe and appreciated the school’s effort in providing such a meaningful, interactive, and joyful learning experience for the children.
