Dr. Dhananjaya BR, the Principal of Vidya Soudha Academy of Management Sciences college, affiliated to Bangalore University. A leader who believes in an open, decentralised style of functioning. He has an instrumental in initiating several new-age programmes, building academic programmes, building academic collaborations and partnerships. He obtained his doctorate degree in Botany from Bangalore University, completed Masters in Botany and also completed MBA., MA and B.Ed.

He is an enthusiastic professor with teaching experience of over 24 years, worked with various prestigious institutions in Bangalore city. An active researcher with several publications to his credit. VSAMS college looks ahead to the next phase of its journey which seeks to make a difference in the lives of youth and contribute to nation building. He wishes to focus on preparing each student for academic, social and personal success by creating a community of empowered and diverse learners in an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding and trust.

Latest Events at VSAMS
Admissions
- Application form should be filled correctly and submitted over to office or Apply Online
- An interview will be scheduled for the candidate.
- Selected candidates will be enrolled upon payment of fees as per the Fee Structure.
- Admission is subjected to Bangalore University Approval.
Admission Process
- The duly filled in application form must be submitted to the college office with the following documents
- Attested copy of marks statement of qualifying examinations I & II Year PUC.
- A copy of category certificate / caste if, claiming seat under reservation
- Late and incomplete application forms will not be considered.
- All admissions are subject to the approval of Bangalore University.
- The list of selected candidates will be notified on the college notice board
- The selected candidates along with parents are informed to meet admission committee with the following documents along with 2 xerox copies of each.
- Original marks statement
- Original Transfer Certificate. (TC)
- Original Caste/Category certificate and proof of income.
- Fees paid receipt.
- The candidate cannot claim admission as a matter of right by buying the application form.
Scholarship for Students
1.SC / ST Scholarships:
Several Scholarship and fee concessions are available for students under various rules. They are awarded either by the Government of India or by the State Government. Information regarding them will be put up on the college notice board as and when received from the authorities concerned.
2.Incentives to Students:
Incentives are given to students who secure ranks in the Public examination. These awards are given by the College Management.
With a view to promote quality education, VSAMS Degree College offers financial assistance to students belonging to the following categories:
