NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY – 2022

“Only a Doctor is blessed with the magical powers to treat life, to bring health into our lives and to be there with us when we have lost all hope.”

National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1st across India to honour the legendary physician, educationist, social worker, politician and the former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day is dedicated to all medical professionals who work and serve patients round the clock to save lives.


Vidya Soudha Public School, Bengaluru, also celebrated National Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2022 to pay tribute to all medical practitioners as this year is special for their ethical and relentless service to humanity.


The celebration was an attempt to emphasize the value of doctors in our lives and to express our gratitude towards them. Doctors are the real heroes fighting at the forefront to save millions of lives around the globe in the present pandemic situation.

Dr. Suman Ramachandra was invited as a special guest on this special day and addressed the students on various topics like hygiene, first aid and other health tips that are useful to follow in our daily life.

Dr. Suman Ramachandra was a diabetologist and occupational physician, Chairman of KRSSDI.

Students of the Primary and High School wing were involved in this interactive and informative session and clarified their doubts related to their general health queries.

A presentation was shown to the students which gave them an insight into the life of doctors & how it revolves around relief & saving lives all around them.

Principal Mrs. Padmashree, High school coordinator Mrs. Ramya Krishna and other teachers were also present on this day.

Student Council Members of VSPS also visited to the nearby hospitals and wished the doctors on this special day as a token of gratitude.
