77th Republic Day Celebration at Vidya Soudha Public School
The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotism at Vidya Soudha Public School, Vijayanagara, Hassan. We were honoured to have Commodore M. S. Chandrashekhar, Vishisht Seva Medal awardee from the President of India, Indian Navy, as our Chief Guest.
The flag hoisting ceremony was led by the Chief Guest along with Mr. Pavan Manje Gowda, Executive Director, Vidya Soudha Group of Institutions; Mr. Parmesh Halgeri, Principal; Mr. Mohan Kumar K R, Vice Principal; and Mrs. Poornima T D, Center Head, Vidya Soudha Kids, Vijayanagara.
The celebration continued with a disciplined marching parade by the students. The program was confidently hosted by Master Yash and Master Shreyas, and Mrs. Rekha D R highlighted the significance of Republic Day.
Students added colour to the celebration through vibrant dance performances and group songs. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of value-based education, while the respected Executive Director spoke about how students can contribute to the betterment of society and extended his best wishes for the upcoming examinations.
The event also recognized achievement and dedication as certificates were awarded to the Scouts and Guides students.
